How do I keep a shore crab?

Hello,

We accidentally picked up a crab among the mussels on a North Sea vacation and didn't notice until we got home. We live quite far from the sea and want to give the animal the chance to continue living with us, but that won't be possible in lakes, rivers, or ponds, will it? Does anyone have any tips on keeping these animals so they can live as comfortably as possible? I've done quite a bit of research, but it's always been about keeping special crabs. Do they absolutely need salt water? And if so, where can I get it? Or, how do I produce it?

It's just animal torture.

That's why you shouldn't take any of the seas. Some "Bernstein" is in truth a phosphorus residue!

Only water with 1.8% salt does nothing, it must also be available food – miniplankton etc.

Brutal, but "humane" _ how to give mussels in boiling water.
