How do I get out at 16?

Hello everyone,

I urgently need help because I'm really at my wit's end. As you may have read, I'm 16 and want to leave "home." I simply don't feel safe here anymore, and I haven't for two years. My mother drinks almost every day, and when she drinks, we always end up arguing at the end of the day. Things escalated in January to the point where my mother threw me to the floor and hit me so hard that blood came out of my nose. And whenever we argue, she locks the front door so I can't get out. I've also had pretty serious problems at school, so much so that I almost didn't get my H-level certificate last year and I almost didn't make it to year 10 to get my R-level certificate. I've told her often enough that I have to study, but she didn't listen and kept saying I should study sooner. I also know very well that my mother wouldn't agree to me being put in a group home.

You can go to the Youth Office to explain the situation and can go to a youth group.

A child beat is a crime and can be shown.

Why to the Youth Office I am only 17 and I always have to listen to that you can’t take off under 18 years, but I think this leads to nix the young people can rent a comfort apartment if they have good money

I also know exactly that my mother would not agree that I would come into a group of people.

This is completely irrelevant. If she physically abuses you, she has nothing to do with it. I’d inform the police and contact the youth office.
