Your book must be seen. If you have an appealing cover, a title that makes curious and a flap text that describes the story well, the likelihood is greater that people see your book. More calls also mean more likelihood on comments.
You can also try it with days, even if I have heard it doesn’t bring so much. It is also an option to add comments in books that are constructive or make you sympathetic (I hope that doesn’t sound funny), especially if you write stories in the similar theme it can be that people come to your profile.

You could of course say that you probably get criticism when you ask. If you do this in each chapter, it seems to me (I don’t close to others) rather impenetrable. As a reader, I find it better not to be asked by the author How did you like it? I wish I would be involved:

Would you have expected that?

What do you think of Person XY?

Do you think the action of XY is justified?

What do you think about XY’s past?

That was quite a lot of XY 😂, but I think you understand what I mean… Finally, the decision is whether you write comments but with your readers. Of course you can’t force anyone to do anything.

Otherwise you can try to see it with other eyes:

I often see stories in which the comments are used to question the logic of history, and NATIVE IS CRITIK IMPORTANT!!! but perhaps your readers like the story so well, and they have no suggestions for improvement.

I’ve researched once, and I’ve seen the use of the 70 million Wattpad and write 2 million of them. I’m sorry, there are stories going down.

Maybe you try it on another platform? Because the fewer stories there are, the more attention is paid to them.

This is my longest gf answer xD. I want to say that these conclusions come from me as readers. I have no experience with how to be on Wattpad author. Nevertheless, I hope at least something about what I’ve done here will help you or others. Greetings:)

Unfortunately, the comments always get such a thing. Many people read a story, but don’t think about giving feedback.

My tip would be easy to connect. Read similar stories, perhaps even more unknown, because so the authors are more attentive to you. Comment actively, give feedback, follow people whose stories you like and exchange with them.

In addition, simply write in the content description and/or at the end of the chapter that you would be very happy about feedback and general comments to remind your readers of this – especially if stories are good you would like to read more and not write a comment for five minutes.

Design your stories, add a cover and write an interesting flap text. And if you’re not a professional, there are also many cover designers that take care of you, some good WaCa designers. Beautiful covers attract more readers.

I hope I could help!

Unfortunately, it is quite common that you rarely get comments. Every single author and we all find it a pity.

People who just read it is often not as aware of how much authors want feedback. They also think the others do it, so I don’t have to do it.

It can help if you actively ask your readers to do so. So, for example, at the beginning of the chapter, writes, “I would really like to receive feedback from you,” so that it is called into consciousness.

But in the end you just have to be very patient.

Many people just read and disappear, that’s what happened to me. 100 reads and at most three comments. I notice how rare I write comments.

How’s your Wattpad called? Would like to see by:)

Ask kindly for feedback or say that you want what

Write better stories that people draw attention to you and/or move to a comment.
