How do I get an IBM server running?
I got the server as a gift from a company years ago when they closed down. So it's probably been in use before. How do I get it running? How can I access the server?
I've already connected a VGA monitor, but it doesn't display anything. Will it work with today's PCs?
PCI A and PCI B flashes with the blue light with
Errors are displayed in the main memory (MEM) and on the board (FRG). It won’t be.
Probably the more electric scrap.
Mem’s gone. It’s probably mainboard. Has a bit of rust
At the latest, I would no longer connect the part to the power grid.
Put the lid on it!
otherwise the cooling system does not work and the overheated.
such servers sometimes need a few minutes until they show a picture.
Did you connect a monitor with a vga input or use an adapter?
Got an old monitor that has another VGA port. It is also connected to current but does not indicate anything. Does cooling always have to run full gas? Because if the server is powerless, the fans do not always run full throttle. You can also activate it by the pushbutton at the back. But the error BRD is called mainboard error. Probably it’s broken anyway?
