How do I get a certificate if I can't see a doctor?

Here's the thing: I have to present a doctor's note to school if I'm sick. However, I don't have a driver's license yet; public transport in my town only runs during school hours (6 and 7 a.m.) in the opposite direction from the doctor's office, and no one else can take me. (Bicycles aren't an option either, as the walk is far too long.)

Is there any way I can still get my certificate? Or somehow exempt myself from the requirement? Thanks in advance.

Then you'll have no choice but to take a taxi to the doctor or ask someone in your neighborhood to drive you there. There will be no exemption from the medical certificate requirement. If it's a cold, you can also get a sick note over the phone.

Dann gehst du zu einem anderen Arzt.

You can't tell me there's no doctor accessible by public transport, sorry. If necessary, you can pack your bike on the bus/train and only ride the first/last leg.

And I haven't heard of a public transport line that runs exclusively in one direction. #nofront

Aha.

Dann ruf ihn an und frag nach.
