How do I find the right mattress with a shoulder zone?

I have sensitive joints; if I put pressure on my shoulder or hip, I quickly feel pain.

Therefore, the search for a mattress turns out to be an odyssey…

I've tried several: Emma, bett1, tempur, all from Matratzen Concord, lattoflex, Röwa, latex from Allmatura (21 cm core)…

My problem is that either the mattress doesn't have a "zone" where my (broad) shoulder can sink in AND the rest of my body is supported more firmly (and stably)… or the shoulder sinks in and the rest of my body does too…

I've tried many slatted frames, just got the Shogazi Mellow S… I also tried a rigid frame…

is really frustrating

Can anyone recommend THE “shoulder mattress” that doesn’t put pressure on your shoulders and hip bones when you lie on your side and is as straight and supported as possible?

Try a water bed. That was my rescue. In combination with a matching pillow depending on the individual needs, this is the solution for many.

No bad idea!

Water beds seem to be a good solution! Read more often at GF!
