How do I draw 2D sprites for my platformer?

Hi, ChatGPT told me it works with Photoshop. I'm not entirely confident with ChatGPT, so I wanted to ask if that's true and a good idea. Do you have any other applications you use to create 2D sprites?
Best regards

Servus!

The choice of software doesn’t matter. 2D Sprites are usually stored as .png and this image format is supported by each editor.

ChatGPT is likely to be dismissed with the supermeasurable complexity of the program. Because it is absolutely not noble.

Generally, it is possible with almost any image editing or drawing program:
GIMP, Krita, paint.net, Photoshop

There are also special tools developed for this:
aseprite, piskel, lospec, pixelorama, etc.

Just googles and try; get out!

Blender 3D does everything you need (including rigging and animation, but also rendering, etc.) and is free. Can keep up with all commercial programs and is now also very user-friendly.
