How do I connect my Bluetooth 5.0 adapter to a Bluetooth mouse or my phone?

I recently bought a Bluetooth 5.0 downward adapter at Media Markt to recover data from my broken cell phone. However, I now have the problem that I have no idea how to connect this adapter to a Bluetooth mouse. When the adapter is plugged into the multisport adapter and I connect the multiport to the cell phone, it just lights up blue, but there is neither a pairing button nor a noticeable sound to confirm the connection.
