How do I connect a retro video game console to my TV?

Hello!

I bought a retro 8-bit video game console with a TV connection cable from an electronics retailer online at a reasonable price. The connection cable was included, but unfortunately it had a yellow and a white plug. Unfortunately, my TV only has connections with a white and a red plug, and no yellow plugs anymore. My TV no longer has a SCART connection, but it does have HDMI. My question now: How can I still connect the retro video console to my TV? Do I need any adapters for this? If so, I would like to know the exact name, and where can I buy such adapters or similar, or even online?
