it is calculated quite exactly when the bus driver can take a tank break, is usually always the same route

You're going to a gas station.

Bus companies usually have their own fuel station on the farm, which they use as much as possible, because this is cheaper (because no profit margin has to be set up) and less expensive for the bookkeeping (because then the tax benefits do not have to be applied for extra).

However, if this is not possible, for example on longer trips, they drive to quite normal gas stations – only a few gas stations are too narrow to drive them by bus. Many tanks even have special lorries, which are then comparatively easy to use, have thicker hoses and pump guns (so that the diesel is running faster) and are often even 1 cent per liter cheaper. And is then usually paid with special "credit cards", eg by "UTA" or "DKV". (Tank sites that accept these cards usually show the corresponding symbols on the price board or near them.)

Line buses have tank sizes from about 120 to 450 liters, coaches up to 1200 liters.

When the tank is empty on a bus, the same fits the car. I don't know if you've been on a longer bus tour, but there's just gonna be refueled, why not? When the tank indicator reaches the south, fresh fuel will be tipped.

How much fits in probably depends on the model

Depending on the series and the tanks in advance that it is enough for the journey

The tanks before entering the farm are cheaper in large quantities. Depending on the bus, the tanks have from 250 to 1000 liters.

When the tank is empty, the bus stops.
