How did Harry Potter survive in the 7th (8th) part?
I've been wondering this for a while. Harry dropped the Resurrection Stone after it allowed him to briefly see his parents and other close friends. That means it can't have been that.
There are a few theories on the internet but is there an official answer from JK Rowling?
Harry was the 7th Horkrux, which means a piece of Voldemort’s soul was in him. This piece killed Voldemort and was thus practically harming itself. If you’d read the book and not just watch the movie, you’d know that and I strongly advise you to read the books!
Yes, very official, it is the Lore of Harry Potter
He himself was also a horcrux, he did not die, but a part of Voldemort’s soul IN IHM
As Dumbledore had explained in conversation with Snape: a part of Voldemort was in Harry. And this part could only kill Voldemort. Not Harry himself.
But what was also added was that Voldemort had used the Elder Wand without even being the real owner of the Elder Wand, because Malfoy had escaped in part 6 Dumbledore. Before that, Malfoy was disarmed by Harry.
Voldemort realized early that his own magic wand could not kill Harry. So he was looking for someone else.
But the end of Voldemort was only when the last Horkrux (the snake) was killed.
The stone doesn’t make immortal, you can only see certain dead as a kind of spirit.
It’s in the book that Harry survived. Besides his soul, he had the fragments of Voldemort intus. He had better chances to survive.
According to theories, blood protection also played a role, but I don’t think so. If you believe in mythological reasons, Harry has also been Lord of Death at that time.
So Voldemort Harry tried to kill as a baby, Voldemort from Harry missed out without knowing it made a hokrux, so transfer a piece of his soul to harry.
And in principle, Voldemort has in 7. Part of his own part killed in Harry.

Voldemort only killed the part of his own soul and not Harry Potter.
