How can you find the number of bacteria?

I didn't understand, if I did it with formula, I would find 223.36 bacteria in 20 minutes but if there are 150 bacteria in 10 minutes then there should be 300 bacteria in 20 minutes (using the rule of three)

in math if one answer is correct then I should always find the same answers but I always find different

Can you explain to me how it works? Thank you.

The formula for the number N of bacteria after a time of t minutes is determined using the approach

Now the task also states that after 10 minutes there will be 150 bacteria. So:

With it:

PS: The rule of three won't get you anywhere.

You can find the doubling time using the logarithm:

f(x) = 100 * 1,5 ^ (x / 10)

Here, the ratio is incorrect, and the result should be 225 bacteria due to exponential growth. You simply need to substitute the 20 into the equation.
