How can the top be combined?

How would this top look on a woman in her mid-30s, and how can it be combined (not with blue jeans)? Is it also suitable for "special occasions" and work, or is it more for leisure?

The upper part is sporty, but still feminine and somewhat playful due to the somewhat waisted cut.
I'd wear a white pants or a white knee-length skirt or a jeans skirt.
Chinos with matching vans or chucks or simple ballerinas would fit.
Possibly also a laterally knotted neck cloth or a matching hair band.
It is suitable for leisure, professional and family visits, but for sports for official occasions such as weddings.

It acts "sporty", therefore less for fine occasions. Perfect for work (depending on) and leisure. I can only imagine this for pants (especially jeans), but also leggings, definitely worn loosely.
