How can my character escape from a dungeon?
I need an idea for my story:
My main character is in a basement vault, in a small cell, with steel bars, etc. Now she's supposed to escape, in as little time as possible. Do you have any idea how to do this well?
For example, something like digging tunnels would be too time-consuming, more like bribing guards or something like that…
Best regards and thanks!
He’s lying on his bed and looking at the summer blanket. There he sees the plastic cover of an air shaft. You can remove it. Because he’s very slim, he fits, sporty he is anyway. He builds a fake for a sleeping prisoner with a few blankets. He pushes the chair under the air shaft and throws it around with his foot while he climbs and escapes. Because of the fake sleeper, he’s not gonna notice the guards very late. Outside he steals a car and escapes.
DAs works, because Ted Bundy had successfully demonstrated this in his second attempt to break out. I don’t know exactly how long he was free, but long enough to get from Colorado or Utah to Florida – with stolen cars. And there he killed five more people,
There are endless possibilities. It only depends on what situation the figure is and what you have planned for the rest of the story.
All in all, these are the main possibilities that I think of. There’s more, but you have to look at yourself, which fits best.
Does the figure have friends outside the prison? Friends who could pretend, for example, to be police officers / guards and to bring several prisoners (it must be several so that the escape of your figure alone does not occur) to another prison? Or a ship to take her to a prison island. Or to the point where they are to be hanged/cooked… whatever suits your story best.
she should consider a list of how she can overthrow the unconscious awake and lock herself while fleeing herself with the wrenches of the watch and possibly their uniform dressed.
