How can I overcome my laziness?

I don't know if it's because I'm experiencing mild depression (I haven't been to the doctor about it) or if I'm really just lazy.

It definitely affects my everyday life. I have no enthusiasm and no motivation to do anything. I can't study or tidy up the apartment. I can't even find the motivation to read and I'm constantly on my phone. I just lie in bed all day and only get up when I really have to. My mother was complaining to my siblings a little while ago that I don't help her, that I don't do anything around the house and that she has to do everything on her own. And she's right. My father often told me that I don't care about anything and that I have to change that. He's right. I really don't care about anything. I really want to change it, but I just can't find the strength to do it.

Please don't tell me I should talk to my parents or something about it. It won't help. They just don't understand things like that.

It is important to realize that it is okay sometimes to feel unmotivated, especially when you feel knocked down. Maybe you could set small targets that you can easily reach to motivate yourself slowly. Maybe you could also try to plan small activities that will give you pleasure to get you out of bed.

If you don’t make it yourself, you’d rather get help because online you can’t help you out of bed this doesn’t work out now

and that I have to change that.

If there are no helpful tips behind how you could do this, you shouldn’t give too much. hard words yes, only without helpful content.

In principle, you don’t have to. Pressure generates counterpressure and it doesn’t matter if you’re trying to resist it. I notice to myself that I sometimes only seek meaningless employment, even at handy, because I do not want to feel other feelings. Then I’ll deal with it, so good it is.

If you want to help, do it if not, then not. Just don’t have to do it. Vllt. you’ll see someday that it makes sense to do it because the dirt annoys you. But until then….

edit: If there are two weeks, or longer, you should go to the doctor again. unfortunately did not write what happened to your last visit to the doctor.

Move your ass out of bed and go!. That’s what they call laziness.
