How can I open PDF?

Since you could only use the phone, this could help:

Check browser settings:

• Make sure your browser is set to open PDFs directly. Sometimes there are settings that force downloading of PDFs instead of opening them in the browser.
• In Chrome, you can check this by going to the settings:

°Tip to the three points in the upper right corner, then to “Settings”.

°Scroll down to “Website settings” and search for “PDF documents”. Make sure that the “Download PDF Documents” option is disabled.

Install PDF viewer app:

• If you don’t have a PDF viewer app yet, you could download one from the Play Store (for Android) or App Store (for iOS). Popular apps are Adobe Acrobat Reader, Foxit PDF Reader or Xodo PDF Reader.
• After installing an app, try to open the PDF again. Sometimes, apps offer the option to open the file directly when you select the option “Open with…”.

Download file directly:

• If there is no direct way to open the PDF in the browser, you could try to download the file. To do this, press the link to the PDF file and select “Save link” or “Download”.
• After downloading, you should find the file in your download app or in the file app of your mobile phone and open it from there.

Change the browser:

• If everything else does not work, you could try another browser, such as Firefox or Opera. Sometimes different browsers have different handling for PDFs.

Delete cache and cookies:

• Sometimes deletion of the browser cache and cookies can help resolve problems. You can find this option in the settings of your browser.
