How can I move Windows to another hard drive by myself?
Hello, I found out that my PC had an SSD and I just needed to activate it. Now I want to install Windows 10 on the hard drive because I've always used an HDD. However, the SSD doesn't have as much space as the HDD. To be exact, 100 GB, and the HDD has 400 GB, and 100 of those are free. For this reason, I don't want to move anything else to the SSD, just Windows 10. How do I do that, and is it even possible with only 100 GB?
LG, thanks in advance
Must make a clean install anyway, so just make it easy and buy a new 500GB SSD or upgrade with a 1TB SSD. Not expensive, 50€ or 80€.
On installing new Windows and then you can drag data from old HDD
It is important that the HDD is plugged into installation because Windows and U.S. does not otherwise make a new boot partition
I can’t. Buy a 500 GB SSD, then you can clone everything there. The HDD can then reformat some less critical points, for example the download directory and a few others, to relocate to the HDD.
As an alternative to the whole action, simply save your data and reinstall Windows
Is it still possible that I only make windows on the ssd that has only 100gb when I reinstall it, I mean all the data that are on the hdd are usually games or unnecessary clips
yes I could if you were on the SSD only win on it had a 64GB SSD and win 7 made on it all the other must on the HDD on it
It’s more difficult. But of course it comes to the computer and its hardware. Theoretically, you could exchange the connections.
How can I make this ssd to boot plate when I cannot open the BIOS in my case. With me the problem that I have endless blackscreen when I try to go to the BIOS
You can easily reinstall Windows on the SSD and make it your boot board.
The HDD is then a data grave and what is there about games on it, that is of course no longer installed and probably no longer accessible.
You need to reinstall Windows. Instruction:

The 100 GB SSD is very close, because Windows already needs half of it. But if you want to try it. You need to reinstall everything, because it does not move from a 500 GN plate to a 100 GB SSD. Have a lot of work on you now.
