How can I make swallowing tablets easier?

Hello,

I would be discharged from the hospital today after a bone infection in my pelvis.

Now I have to take two different antibiotics for at least four weeks. Three times a day, so six tablets per day.

However, I'm really bad at swallowing pills. And antibiotics are still so big. I always develop a real mental block when it comes to swallowing them. That's a pain with antibiotics, because when they dissolve, it's really disgusting.

One of them is no problem; I can cut it in half, and with a little juice, it's fine. But the other one shouldn't be cut in half because it can cause an inflammation in the esophagus, and it dissolves immediately as soon as it's in your mouth. I almost puked today because I just couldn't get that huge thing down right away.

I'm so desperate because I have to take this for four weeks. Because I'd have to take six times the dosage of the juice (I'm 14). That's just not possible.

Do you have any tips on how I could make this easier?

LG

Hey, there I can understand you a little bit of illness and need to take at least 4 tablets a day and hate to actually have to take over all the medicines, so I usually take the big ones or the funny tastes with such fruit squeeze even if it may sound weird it has always helped me so far, hope I could help you a little with it

I always do the same with large or delicate tablets:

Put your head back, tablet more or less to the back near the throat, immediately drown (with the head going forward again shortly) and then throw your head back into the neck in a jerk-like manner, as the fiesses slide down relatively easily.
