How can I learn to take measurements and tailor to my measurements when sewing?
If you don't have the opportunity to attend a course where you are taught how to measure a body in order to tailor clothes:
How can I learn this? Does anyone know of a book for it? No videos, please. Just a regular book with clear instructions, preferably with pictures.
I'm not looking for a book that already has patterns that just need to be modified; I want to learn where and how to measure the body and then how to sew a T-shirt, for example.
Searching on Amazon and other sites yielded nothing, as they only returned books with ready-made patterns. Does anyone know of a book with a title that teaches how to take measurements and make patterns that I'd recommend?
Taking the measure is not an art. This is explained in almost every catalog/website to know what dimensions you have to measure where.
Tailoring is more difficult. Only find nothing is a pro performance

You don't even seem to have read my question. Save your sore comments like "just find nothing is a pro performance". You seem to have some problem with people who trust each other.
I don't have a problem if it's done here, I didn't find anything. I find that necessary with an attempt. Like you don't even have a minute. Several books on tailoring. They contain not only cut patterns, but the like. You have to pick it up.
Therefore you all get the appropriate search word (where it usually fails and with which you can do it.)
Sewing T-shirts is difficult because they should have a little roughness. Getting fabric is not the problem anymore, but an elastic sewing stitch does not have any machine.
And a tailoring course is not the non plus ultra. A tailor's teaching. Books, you could get used. You can't.

My sewing machine was 160 years old Singer in the look of an old. So black. But on an electronic basis. It is ready to handle in the WZ, on an old sewing table, a folding sewing machine. On which Grandma taught me how to sew. Of course, only with Gradem engraving, they couldn't. Only without the old granite plate. I wouldn't do that with a stinky white man. The old wooden sewing case is also in the WZ, only not so visible.
It was used again yesterday, a jeans' front pocket was replaced. It's just three weeks out of the way. Even if I write novels.
