How can I know my recovery key

There are a total of 5 options:

  1. In your Microsoft account
  2. On a printout
  3. On a USB memory stick
  4. In a business, school or university account
  5. Held by your system administrator

See: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/find-your-bitlocker-recovery-key-in-windows-6b71ad27-0b89-ea08-f143-056f5ab347d6

PS: If none of this applies and there are no backups: It's your own fault… -.-

I can only write numbers in the white field but no letters

And what's the problem? The recovery key is a 48-digit number sequence, so what do you want with letters?

This sequence of numbers and letters is used to find the correct recovery key in a list of several.

It is not entered anywhere.

This is actually displayed once when you initially encrypt the HDD. If it's your domain computer, the information is also stored in the computer object in AD.

By contacting the responsible domain administrator, how else?
