How can I clone this garage remote control with these devices?
Hello everyone,
My uncle has a very old remote control (in a black box) for his garage. However, it's so old and large that he wanted to replace it. I ordered the new clonable garage door openers, but the cloning doesn't work.
I assume the old device isn't on a frequency that the others could copy. How can I fix this, or how can I clone the old one?
Things emit a code on a specific frequency with a specific modulation.
If the cloning does not know one of these factors, it does not work out the code and imitate it.
You need to know what’s in the transmitter for a chip and what frequency the transmitter is working on.
If you know the exact name of the chip, you can create a transmitter that has the same chip. In the old things, soldering bridges are usually responsible for encoding, as one introduces the “key”, when replacing one must then connect the same soldering bridges.
I bet he is even too old for the cheap clone jackets from China… Hahaha
Better PR433-4 buy cable at the same old drive and operate with a Homelink or buy a TX4Runi. It goes and has 20 years of future even if the engine has to get out.
