Hostel forgets to debit?

I stayed in a hostel for three days two weeks ago. I did it through a portal where I had to provide my credit card details, and then the hostels usually pay the amount. The money hasn't been debited yet, and I just received an email from the hostel asking me to send my bank details because there was a system error and the money wasn't debited. Stupid question, but am I obligated to respond? If so, should I just send my bank details or request an invoice first, or something?
