Horse riding lessons are no longer fun (or something like that)?

Hey, I have a school horse at my stable that I'm worried about (please no hate, I've often asked questions about horses and only received hate even though I'm asking for help to improve myself).

A few months ago the horse was really motivated and was happy when he was ridden, but now he seems to fall asleep while standing.

He has become very lazy when riding and now with stronger aids or a whip he runs better (not hitting or tapping, I don't want anyone to start hitting the horse now: ahh stop hitting the horse even though I don't do it, if someone does that to us they'll be thrown out before they can say anything).

A lot of people don't like riding him anymore and now I'm worried that it could be an illness or just laziness (my riding instructor knows a lot about illnesses and such but has no idea). Am I worrying for nothing or could it really be something?

Sometimes I exaggerate when it comes to animals because I'm simply afraid (during lessons, my trainer always tries to do something new, so the horses have a lot of variety, and the horse doesn't gallop anymore, only with difficulty when the trainer urges him on with the whip, like when lunging (with every rider)).

There could be many reasons, for example a stomach ulcer or possibly he only has blockades.

I’d have him checked by osteo, physio and veterinarian, just to explain it. You should do more often anyway. If you don’t find anything, he’s out. also simply no more fun (does not know how old the horse is) and should then send it to retire (of course, but if he should be healthy still working with him, not just ride)

What you call “Hate” is quite clear without having to look at your previous questions, the unambiguous call to do good to you and all the horses you have to do with, by searching for another riding establishment where you are properly taught (!).

All your description shows that everything goes wrong there, which can only go wrong. A riding teacher who has no idea has NULL, but really no idea of horses. That someone buys something is unbelievable. What has to happen that people remember, there is no quality offered?

So you can’t say anything other than keep your money before you give it to a company like that. You can only take a good riding lesson every few months than more often.

In order to give you only the approach of a council, one would have to write a multi-volume work about horses, their anatomy and the riding theory.

Most likely the professional corrective rider is missing and the horse has simply resigned.

Then there is probably erroneous equipment, missing ostheothers, missing dentist, bad hoofing, etc.

Such a school horse life is not beautiful for such a horse

This sudden lustlessness in the horse will have a reason. Disorders of joints, tensions or even a colic can be found behind them. Horses are fleeing animals and often show up late when they are sick, because in nature, wild horses would otherwise notice themselves. Maybe you talk about your worries about the animal that the horse belongs to and ask a veterinarian to look at the horse.

If the riding teacher, who has the responsibility for school horses, has no idea, it is certainly a serious lack of training. When the animal came, it came with reasonable training and it was destroyed by the farm. Certainly, hoof processing, equipment etc. isn’t true – how should someone judge this quality of the riding teacher?

I didn’t think so. But you’re right, there’s something wrong in this operation.

YOU didn’t find the training good if she just imagined it and now everything broke can be good

Oh, wait, that’ll change soon.

Currently all horses (relative) have thick winter fur and the temperatures are not wintery. It is easy to warm and there are too high fluctuations between day and night. My pony also makes it very much to create, as well as the horses of my friends.

If it becomes colder and the fur fits the teperatures, it is surely more motivated! What helps to go long enough step, if possible step breaks between and long enough step run after riding to dry.

But very nice that you look at that. Being attentive is very important, you have to listen to the horses. :

Depending on , either there are health reasons or in training too little change.

it’s a broken horse. There should be health problems with the reason that lead him to this behavior. To this end, the pupils who are not well-riding on his back. And irresponsible and capable people on his side, who let him check him out properly.

I myself grew up with horses 3 own and live on a farm my father has 312 horses I would simply say that it is because of the weather but of course the horse should be checked!

it is best if you take some break and make groundwork, long the horse, walk and or even scare training so that the horse has fun and it is variety!
