Hoover washing machine won't stop washing?
Hello, my dears,
I moved and took over a Hoover washing machine from the previous tenant (the previous tenant also inherited the washing machine, so no one knows exactly how old it is).
I recently washed some laundry using the "Mixed Laundry" program. The wash cycle originally took 1 hour 55 minutes. When the time was up, the machine simply continued seamlessly and now shows 2 hours 45 minutes remaining.
How can this be? I haven't changed anything or started a new wash cycle…
Has anyone here ever had experience with something like this?
Thanks for your answer, anti45!
The machine is not overcrowded. It’s half a laundry basket in there. I had already found this on Google, but I was not quite sure if this is a special “hoover problem”…
Then it only remains switched off and switched on again.
I know the problem with my Hoover washing machine too.
The time that is displayed never matches the washing time.
With time you will find out how long a wash takes.
That the washing machine spontaneously adjusts the time during the washing cycle down or up I have already seen. Exciting matter itself.
It only surprised me that this time it is almost 3 hours. Know that from other machines that you can wash for 30 degrees approx. 1:50 hours, but not four and a half.
Thank you for your quick answer!
I myself know a similar problem only with other washing machines (bsw. Siemens).
Usually, however, the (current) wash program is always extended by several minutes (not equal to several hours!) , and time would come down to a minute, the machine would be running for a minute and would not be ready for washing forever.
this problem then occurs, the drum is overloaded and/or the laundry is otherwise unbalanced, by large parts of bed linen.
Watch if the machine is squealing (on higher tours) – or if it may only be used for spinning and then simply washes.
A reduction in the shleuderum spins could help in the second case. Or pump water, remove part of the laundry and then wash it again separately.
you didn’t overfill the drum with laundry, stop the wash program and start it again.
My answer comes slightly late, I have a little bit much about my ears right now.
The drum was half full and also with less content I had the same result.
She was hurled. However, the last 10 minutes also have approx. Twenty minutes, although the display has not extended upwards.
I have now telephoned with the customer service and received similar answers. Unfortunately, none of the solutions worked.
End of the song:
The washing machine is replaced. I don’t know how the pre-rente left the house without thinking while the machine was washing. Smoothly hot, even the warm air from the dryer was cool against the part – clear when it takes three times as long. Or how the electricity bill looked. This thing is coming out now.
