Is the fee for direct placement through temporary employment really that high?

I started a new job and used a temporary employment agency as my intermediary. It says online that they pay 20-30 percent of my annual salary as commission. That would be at least €7,000 for me. I can't believe it.

Is the commission my current company pays the temporary employment agency really that high?

During the probationary period, I can quit within two weeks. If I quit during the first month, I'll effectively have been with the company for one month, and they'll have spent at least €10,000 on me, including commission and my salary. That can't be realistic, can it?

Theoretically yes. The problem is rather that companies also have to pay the prossions. And that often bites the dog in the tail.

If one obtains the profession from the mediated himself, it is often not willing to pay also the fees for an order exchange.

If you get it from the company, it’s also an insecure thing. because the companies are often in the process of taking up temporary staff.
