Holz unterstützen?

Ich bastel gerade ein Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Eltern zusammen, das habe ich schon fertig. Jetzt brauche ich einen Standfuß, damit man das Teil hinstellen kann.
Ich habe mir eine DIN-A4 Spanplatte genommen, und in der Mitte einen Schlitz ausgefräst, in den man den Baum stecken kann.
Jetzt habe ich aber folgendes Problem: Der Standfuß kann den Baum nicht richtig Supporten, der Baum kippt nach hinten weg.
Was kann ich jetzt tun? Morgen ist Weihnachten

It doesn’t make sense to make a foot under it. Then you have to put it in the middle of the room and it was wasted still more space. Put the hanger on, so you can hang it on the wall.
Where did you attach the tree to the plate?
In the middle, the barely tipped – on the edge, your 22 discs are more weight than the whole plate…
Either continue to put in or tilt forward easily…
…or what to put/stick under the plate…
…or something else on the plate as a counterweight…
Without bd but difficult to imagine…
How big is the tree?
It is on a DIN-A5 chipboard, at the bottom slightly smaller so that it fits into the base. 22 2cm birch discs are glued to the tree
