Hole pattern in construction paper?

Hello everyone! 💫 For my Advent stars (20 points) made of construction paper, I have to pierce 5,000 holes with a needle each time so that the light shines through and I get a nice pattern. My hands are suffering. How can I make a stencil for the spiral pattern so that the double spiral motif can be pierced with approximately 85 holes (1mm spacing) all at once? Nail boards? Anyone have any ideas?

I look forward to hearing from you!💡

If you have a sewing machine available, then take the thread out and put a piece of cut underneath it. “Now” times different stitch types (geradstich, zigzag, pattern) to be able to review the hole patterns.

For a needle punch, you need two pieces of boards and a drill that has the thickness of a needle. Drill into one board the pattern and place it on a foam block. Fill the holes with pins and secure them with second glue. Then glue the second board on top and finish is the needle stamp.

Put the paper on polystyrene and test the needle stamp.
