HIV infection possible?

I've done a bit of research and read that HIV is only transmissible when blood, sperm, etc., comes into contact with wounds or mucous membranes. Is it also possible to become infected with HIV if saliva comes into contact with an open wound? I've read that it's not transmissible through saliva. Is that true?

Although the saliva contains small amounts of the virus, the concentration is generally too low to cause an infection. The risk of infecting itself via saliva is therefore extremely low to practically not present, even if saliva comes into contact with an open wound. HIV transmission in this way has not been documented.

But tbh, I’ve only found this through some research, of course, I’m not an expert and my degree course is completely different xd
