Rear axle cannot be adjusted?

Hello,

I have an Opel Vectra CCC 2.2 DTI 92kW from 2002

I changed my rear axle in October 2023 and completely forgot to have the axle adjusted.

Now I changed tires because the others were about to burst and wanted to adjust the track a little because it already looked very bad (see photo)

And it can be adjusted, but as soon as the car is off the jack and on the ground and you drive, the tire jumps back into the crooked position.

What could be causing this? What could have gone wrong?

Strangely, it is only this extreme on the left side.

I hope you didn’t try to set the axle on the truck? This is done on an axle test stand and not in the backyard without any measuring instruments. Let this be done as soon as possible in a workshop and don’t drive too much until then. And take turns slow.
