I suspect that the term cadenz is used incorrectly here.

In the Wikipedia article about Kadenz (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kadenz_(Harmony Teaching)), that cadence e.g.

  • usually a chord sequence [is] which articulates the conclusion of a section or a whole piece.
  • used for certain chord sequences [will], which are declared a basic component of harmonics and do not necessarily represent a conclusion
  • used for cliché harmonic sequences [will]

So a cadence is a Accord sequence.

Individual chords are just that: chords. One can also say “step chords”, i.e., if one speaks of the chord of the 2nd stage, one means the chord which d has as the basic tone (3rd stage = e as the basic tone, etc.).

And I think it’s about you: it’s about the formation of chords.

At “6th Kadenz” is probably the chord on the 6th. Level means A as a basic tone.
To image the chords, you can only use tones contained in the conductor. So in the case: A C E, and this is A minor because between A and C is a small terz and between C and E is a large terz.

Ask if anything is unclear.
