Help – mold in the aquarium?

Hello everyone

We bought the new spider root two days ago, scrubbed it down, and attached it to the aquarium – today, white threads/spots are visible… to me, that looks like mold?

What should I do? Can I leave the root in, or is that harmful to the fish?

I hope someone can help.

This is Bacteria grass, under water it does not git a mold. This is absolutely harmless. If you take it off, it only takes longer until it disappears, so just wait.

This is not a mold, that is a bacterial grass that eats the organic ingredients that should not have your root if they have destroyed it, they disappear

That’s snail feed like bacterial grass. Go away from alone.
