Help! Feeling weird after smoking weed?

Hello,

I have an important question. Six days ago, I smoked weed (not for the first time). It was different than usual because I smoked more this time, which led to a sort of "bad trip" or overdose.

I kept forgetting I existed, and my entire body felt fake. After about an hour, I went home and went straight to sleep.

The next morning the acute high feeling was gone, but I was totally confused and felt like I was in a movie.

Six days have passed, and I still don't feel like I've come to terms with reality. It's lessened somewhat, but now I'm joined by a strong, unpleasant feeling of pressure in my chest. My blood pressure is also very low.

I've tried to do a lot to distract myself over the past few days, but especially in the mornings, these strange feelings come back. It makes me feel like I'm not quite there or like I have to break through a wall to return to my normal life. I also find it difficult to distinguish between what I dreamed and what really happened.

I've experienced a similar kind of derealization before after smoking weed (even with an unusually high dose for me). This went away within seven days.

About me: I am still a minor, if that plays an important role in a diagnosis

I'm extremely anxious and panicked, and I'm asking for explanations, advice, etc. When will this go away? How can I get through this time or make it easier? What can I do about this terrible feeling of pressure in my chest? Is my condition dangerous?

Thanks for any answers and help!!

Depletion after cannabis overdose is normal for young, largely inexperienced consumers. The fact that fears are associated with this is also logical. Impairments as you describe them are usually reversible if you have a little patience with yourself and the symptoms. This becomes better from day to day and disappears with every restful sleep phase.

Yes, of course…

I’m pretty sure this will be back in time.

If it doesn’t get better, go to the doctor, you don’t need to be afraid of legal consequences because doctors have confidentiality.

Furthermore, for the future it can be recommended to either lower doses or if the side effects are too severe for you even at lower doses, the ciffs are completely to stop.

I think that this is also just a matter of time, it’s gone.

And as I said, get to the doctor.

You can’t expect a diagnosis here. This is not a practice and we are not doctors, but lay people on a guide platform. Even doctors from a distance could not make a diagnosis. That’s best done personally.

I can guess. You have already made the connection between the too high dose and the aftereffects described by yourself. What you’re describing is a lot of consumers. There are regular questions that usually seem to come from minors.

Whatever this is can go away. You already noticed that it was better. It is important that you remain sober (this also affects alcohol and ideally also caffeine and nicotine). What can help is regular and sufficient sleep, sufficient fluid supply, balanced diet and exercise in fresh air. This is generally healthy and can have a positive effect on well-being. You shouldn’t stay out for too long on heat.

If it becomes more unpleasant or can’t be restrained, you should be better informed. Thanks to confidentiality no problem.

Good luck!

PS: At the age of 14/15, it would be best if you were totally out of drugs and give your body the chance to complete the growth (which includes, for example, brain and lung growth) as undisturbed as possible. Otherwise consume as rarely as possible and no longer overdose.

Please.

I don’t know how long it lasts on average. Can last longer or less long.

Unfortunately, I cannot judge whether this is psychosomatic or another cause is in question. In doubt, I’d rather go to the doctor sooner than later.

I also see that we had already discussed this a few months ago…

I don’t have the competence to judge. Please contact a doctor. If you have mental problems anyway, cannabis can have a negative effect here. If these problems were diagnosed, the diagnosed physician would probably be a good first point of contact.

In the case of existing mental problems, it is more urgent to discourage consumption.

This was certainly chemically treated cannabis. I actually had exactly the same nasty tripp and that had nothing to do with it. I had a panic attack from the finest and stand under the ice-cold shower and to get clear.

That’s exactly the problem. You never know what you’re getting, and if that’s what’s going on, you never know what you’re getting.

The fact that these were weeds contaminated with synthetic substances is not to be excluded, but anything but safe. Herbal cannabinoids are sufficient to explain such effects.

But I’ve never seen this before in normal grass.

But you do not learn from 🙅

As a minor, you are not yet fully developed. If you know you’re responding to the stuff like this, you should think about leaving it.
