Help militarism presentation?

Hello everyone, at school we're doing a presentation on militarism as practice for the project exam. To be honest, we've been procrastinating a bit, so now I'm just going to finish everything over the weekend. My teacher mentioned that my grades weren't that good for the presentation, specifically the topics everyone will be reading about. So I wanted to ask you what would be good topics for a presentation on militarism. She said militarism after the Second World War, or war in general, is unimportant. Thank you in advance.
