No if you are buying a ticket from Duisburg to Cologne, the ticket is with you and not in Cologne.

It was about the EasyNext ticket from AVV, VRR and VRS. This extends the validity range of a time ticket of the aforementioned allies for one trip to the other of the aforementioned allies.

If you have a monthly card of the VRR, the EasyWeiterTicket extends the validity range for a trip to the VRS or AVV. You can use all buses, trams, underground/city railways and local trains (RE, RB, S-Bahn). In Cologne you can also drive to your destination by subway, tram or bus.

The prerequisite is that you already have a time ticket for the VRR, the EasyWeiterTicket is not a single ticket for a trip to Cologne, but only extends the validity range for a trip!

Thank you and welcome! I use the ticket regularly to Arnhem Centraal (Netherlands)
