HELP – Accidentally marked my own email in Outlook – will the recipient see it?

Dear all,

I have a huge problem . I actually wanted to print my own sent email, but I accidentally clicked the "Flag" option, which apparently means there's a deadline for processing this email or something (?).

Of course, I marked it as "Done" immediately afterward. Will the person still see it? The person this email was sent to is my supervisor and the supervisor of my thesis, so this is a really big problem.

Should I write an apology email instead? Or will that be even more noticeable?

Thank you very much in advance!

The markings are only visible to you.

The person to whom this e-mail went is my supervisor and supervisor of my thesis, so this is really a big problem.

Even if this information would reach the recipient (what does not happen as I said) I do not recognize the problem

Why don’t people in 2023 know how emails work?

This means that the option is a to-do list for oneself, so to speak, to give emails that you get from someone else and want to answer?

Great, thanks again! Sorry, I quickly get into panic mode and then don’t think properly
