I personally assume that it is not schizophrenia, but a paranoid personality disorder, or perhaps a bit of both. I do not have the typical symptoms such as hallucinations; in my case it is more like thought disorders.
I was also diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and another thing with me was that I simply stopped the treatment. It was one of the best decisions I made and I am symptom-free.
I'm still sick, but I stopped treatment six months ago. Officially, I have paranoid schizophrenia, but I also have some symptoms of other illnesses.

Yes, I feel the same way. I've been taking them for almost 20 years. It's basically the opposite of cocaine or speed.
I think if you need neuroleptics then something is wrong – besides it is planned to stop taking them again
