Hello

  • install and connect the new HDD/SSD in the PC
  • on a working Windows PC create a Windows installation medium with the Media Creation tool from Microsoft to DVD or USB Stick
  • boot the created Windows installation medium on the PC with the new HDD/SSD, thereby starting the Windows setup
  • follow Windows Setup instructions, select the new HDD/SSD for installation and install Windows on it

During the Windows installation, the computer will be restarted once, and the installation will be continued automatically after restarting. The new HDD/SSD is in the PC all the time. For this, nix must be installed out and back.

First, you need to install the hard drive. Then go to this link on another device: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

Go to “Download” and run the program. Choose “Create Installation Media for another PC”. Insert your 8gb USB stick and select “USB Flash Drive”. When you’re done, you can connect the USB stick to a new PC, turn it on and install Windows. You can enter your license key or activate Windows later.

Hope that helps, LG
