Hello, I have a huge red cabbage. I want to cut it in half and keep one half. How should I cut it in half from the stem onwards?

Horizontal or vertical

I don't feel like "leaf by leaf" because I always cut it up small for my salad in the evening

I always put the red cabbage on the trunk and halve it with a large sharp knife from top to bottom, then I put the halves on the cut surface and cut it into ‘cross’ strips.

Cool, thanks. Is Strunk what I mean with Stiel?

That’s right. The harder, lower part that holds all leaves together. Where the cabbage was cut off in the field.

Starting from the stunk approach, the red cabbage head is divided into two halves. The one holds in a freshening foil for some time in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator, without drying out.

From the 1st half there is freshly with me mostly medium-fine raw food salad, the 2nd half is tasted as vegetables.

I’d rather get some red cabbage bowls, then I can’t get them in the use pressure! ECT

Good luck!
