I’d think, on the basis of the picture, that the lights go along main bends. I would interpret that here the color applied to the leather – possibly different colors in several layers – is abbreviated, violated or as always you want to describe this.
You have a silvery-white base with champagne-colored toping. The darker upper layer is away or reduced, the brighter base seems through.
You may actually be able to restore this (where? Maybe with a really good tailor or leather processing operation?), but how much it costs, whether it is worth it and you can easily find such a company, I cannot say. I also see here again the great danger of color defects due to inaccuracies in repainting. It’s probably because it’s presumably painted, it’s probably out.

If it wasn’t an ultra expensive piece or your heart hangs incredible, you can probably only accept it as a trace of use.
