Convert HEIC files to JPEG?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to use a photo for eBay and realized it's not working. The reason: HEIC files instead of JPEGs. This is probably due to my new iPhone, and there's a converter available, but despite the supposed conversion, transferring it to my PC doesn't work. I went to "Settings," then "Photos," then scrolled all the way down, and checked "Automatic" for "Transfer to Mac or PC." Can someone explain to me what I did wrong? Is it possible to change the iPhone back to saving JPEGs? I would appreciate your help!

The iMazing HEIC Converter is recommended for already shot photos.

For future photos, you should set the camera image to maximum compatibility on iPhone under settings -> Camera -> formats.

Just let it just convert online there are certain enough pages to do it and then you can download the jpgs directly.
