Heartbeat cat?

This might sound strange, but my cat is lying on top of me right now, and I can hear her heartbeat, so to speak. And it's abnormally fast. Am I imagining it, or is it dangerous? And I know that cats have a faster heart rate than humans, but not as fast.

Cats have a faster heartbeat than people. Generally, in mammals, the smaller ones have a faster heartbeat than the big ones.

Your cat is very old. If you’re worried, pick up a vet.

How fast is he? How are we supposed to say something if you don’t tell us?

Grob can be said that cats have twice as high a rest pulse as humans. 110 to 140 strokes per minute are normal for adult cats in the resting state. The smaller the cat, the higher.

Sorry, you wouldn’t hear a heartbeat at 20 bucks a second. This is so fast: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Zk0LGDBRlCo

Pulse in cats is the same as in humans. Count the beats for 15 seconds and multiply them with 4.
