I have a really stupid question. I've been looking for an HDMI (input) to DisplayPort (output) adapter for hours, but I can't find one for sale. My question is, is there a reason for this?
To clarify the question: HDMI port on the laptop and DISPLAYPORT on the monitor.

In an adapter where certain transducers or generally electronics are included, it is usually noted on the adapter.
DMI to DP and DP to HDMI is a huge difference. Serious purchase recommendations should not come from AliExpress + the adapters under the link would not work.
Pure lines that are already in place where converter chips or electronics are in, where it is noted in which direction the signals have to run.

I ordered or bought at Amazon. in 90& of all cases I find things cheaper at Aliexpress. Must wait a couple of days, so it’s worth it.
