On the HDD, you can save your whole stuff, for example, where the access times don’t have to be so fast, and you can also check with Crystal Disk Info if your old HDD is still in order and doesn’t have any problems and errors.

It depends.

If the hard drive is in empty operation(no applications in the background) then it is usually the one that has its days behind it.

Here you should definitely get the one SSD in today’s standard as the main data carrier.

But I would also first look at the background processes in Task Manager, what is going on.
