I love the star kitchen 🤤 I like good food in general.

Because it’s an amazing craft. It fascinates me what the food gets out and what perfection is being worked with.

I regularly go very well to eat excellent. I’ve got a list with a buddy and we’re gonna work it out. If we find an interesting shop again, it comes to the list, so shorter it won’t be 😁 Must not always be stars, but already elevated gastronomy. We also go to eat a diner 👌

What I like about the star kitchen is the many small courses. Because you can try a lot of different things. What makes me less irritated are XXL scavengers and the like, which are only in the stomach afterwards. Eating is enjoyable for me and not just getting tired.

Last time we were in Perasdorf near Michael Ammon.

Last year we were in the Aska. This is the only Sushi restaurant with star in Germany.

and just like the Aska, the Storstad is also under the leadership of Anton Schmaus.

Anton Schmaus also operates here in Regensburg the Sticky Fingers and the wine bar Tipsy

And so we travel through the land and let’s just go well 😌

Have you ever eaten in a Michelin star(s) award-winning restaurant?

Yes

If so, where was that?

In France and in Cologne

And how did you taste the food?

Super, just super.

I did, but it was a long time ago and was in Dortmund. The taste was good, but from the main dish a cat would have been fed up at most

That’s not supposed to be it, nice day.

Yes, quite often. In D u.a. at the Bareiss restaurant in Baiersbronn/Mitteltal, Hotel Traube Tonbach, Atelier im Bayersichen Hof in Munich, Restaurant poet in Rottach-Egern and Im Schiffchen in Düsseldorf.

And how did you taste the food?

Well, Bareiss was really sensational and by far the best food I’ve ever eaten.

forever

with 17 when I was at the boarding school, I was invited by the fellow student to his birthday dinner and we were then in Baden Baden in a luxury shed. There was seabed I remember that the smoked aal has tasted so well, but no longer knows how caviar tastes. I’m sure I tried it, because there was plenty of it. The food must have cost a fortune.

At 18 I did an internship in a Nobelschuppen on Lake Constance in the kitchen. But I only made banal meat salad all day and always asked me why you eat so massive meat salad in the fine shop. The meat salad was nothing special – very ordinary meat salad, which I prepared myself and the people who ordered it were usually in fine evening wardrobes. After two days, the chef beat me a blue eye and then I was gone.

Then I did an internship in another Nobelschuppen. Doesn’t have a star but at least medium price level and I only remember living trouts. The chef said to me – if one drives up with the belly then the next one is served.

Had other negative experiences in my teaching as a chef – today I don’t go to a restaurant anymore.

Yes, in the grapes in Tobach. Except for the price was not much intoxicating. I don’t need that.

No, probably because the price would then assume astronomical values.

Yeah.

War nobel, high quality, delicious. But I don’t think it’s worth the extra price.

Yeah, sure.

The restaurant at Hotel Zur Post in Odenthal has been decorated with a star since 2004! Since that time, we have been there occasionally!

Never regretted and always enjoyed!
