You can ask as often as you want. Your part, like all new ones from 2018, is equipped with an ECU. It takes over the complete control of the Euro4 standard. Thus tuning is almost ruled out and this is also true.

You could still add a larger variety if there is one.

Whether 45 km/h are “correct”, you could discuss it. Fact is: In the city, 50 km/h is driven, in practice mainly 55 km/h, and here the regulation fits much better until 2002 (50 km/h plus 10%, i.e. 55 km/h). 45 km/h are pure harassment, no more. And: You are hugging consumption, producing more noise and more pollutants.

does the kymco people s 50i 4 tacter have a CDI?

According to my research, yes. CDI = “Capacitor Discharging Ignition”, in German: “High voltage capacitor ignition “.

Did you find a schematic? On the Kymco side I find only one for Like 50i. If this is the same engine, it has no CDI, but a battery ignition:

No, I didn’t. Apparently, the conversion took place with the installation of the injection system. Interesting!

So with the introduction of the injection systems even at 50 ccm models. Interesting, I didn’t know. But I’ve already wondered why the light works there without running engine – like the car. I assume this is a side effect of the switched ignition system.

Since when?

There is no more CDI in the conventional sense. It is now a motor control unit, ECU.
