Does anyone have experience as an au pair in South America?
Hello, I'm 19 years old and want to spend a year as an au pair in South America after graduating from high school. It's very difficult to find opportunities outside of the USA and Europe. A little about me: I speak Spanish fairly well (at a level where I can communicate well) and I'm very open-minded. I'm very interested in Uruguay, but other countries are also okay. Does anyone have experience and can help me with my search?

Au Pair in South America does not really appear here as a topic.

However, I find it useful to make an Au Pair activity with an organization. Then the host families should be briefed and you have a contact person if it doesn’t work with the host family. But that’s your decision.
