Historia de una gaviota y del gato que le enseno a volar is a novel by Luis Sepulveda, which tells the story of a goose that is taught by a cat how to fly. The story is about friendship, courage and adventure. The goose born on an island had always dreamed of flying, but her family and friends had told her that geese cannot fly. One day she meets a cat stranded on the island and decides to help her realize her dream. The cat teaches to fly the goose and together they make many adventures and experience many dangers. At the end, the goose flies away and the cat remains on the island.
