Has social media given society a sick body image?

I have the feeling that social media has given a lot of people a very distorted perception of themselves and others. I know, for example, that I'm overweight, but there are lots of slim or normal-weight people, and some who are only slightly overweight, who are described as fat on the internet. I mean, everyone has a bit of belly fat and everyone should have it, or am I wrong? Of course not if it goes to extremes like in my case, but I just can't imagine that it's healthy to have your ribs visible, just a bit of fruit and a salad and nothing to eat in the evening? I've been seeing this content more and more lately!

The wrong body image was already in front of the Internet, only there was not so much beaten around your ears. Especially in the spring, magazines for women make use of diets because a woman must be “slender”. There is also a false image of women. Well.

Of course, strong overweight is not healthy. But underweight is just as unhealthy.

Unfortunately, both groups are well represented in social media and advertise for their only true life view. This is the great disadvantage of social media.

She did.

Just through all the perfect images that were supposedly produced so you can see how many people do not really recognize the world image. One is too wide, the other too thin, others have no ass, others have no boobs.

There are so many women by comparing.

But even in men, the wrong value comes.

Too lazy, not a sixpack, show emotions.

Some people out there do not check what it is actually a human being..

I think the opposite is the case. Keyword Bodyshaming – you click on society that every body is beautiful. Whether adipous or strongly underweight. And that goes in the wrong direction. It’s just not healthy and not nice.

This is not about light overweight or underweight. In part, it is really extreme.

It’s not about whether slim or chubby is more beautiful. Everybody looks different. You should only pay attention to yourself and to your health.

Yeah. But after all these people are spoken well. “You’re good as you are.” No – it’s unhealthy and dangerous.

Not anymore. Meanwhile, any kind of body is put on the net and shown as great. But not all of it is great.

I told you. Neither strong overweight nor strong underweight is good. Both are dangerous and cause health problems.

The Internet has split people a little. Through hatred in the net and other activities, hatred in the true life is now breaking out much more often. YES it has changed the world image.
