Hat die Automarke Genesis in Deutschland eine Chance?
Hallo,
I see the views as marginal. Even Infiniti does not take place on the German market, since only Lexus has significant sales figures at all.
Probably nothing will change just because the luxury models get their own brand.
In the case of citrus, there is the Spinoff DS, which not only stimulates the upper class. But if it really needs that? 🤷
I think that will not work in the second run. Infiniti has failed, even though the vehicles were good. The cars of Genesis are certainly a lot better and for what they offer fair priced. But getting into the market as a “luxury brand” in Germany/Europe is almost impossible. A few GV70 and GV80 will sell them safely, but the limousines will remain “individual cases”. Especially since only one support point (preliminary) is planned in Germany…
As with Infiniti, Genesis will soon have disappeared from the European market.
Lexus got the curve, though. They offer something in every class, including hybrid. Electric follows with the UX. 10 years manufacturer warranty.
Just like Lexus from Toyota, these cars will also find individual buyers. But it is more likely not to be successful.

The German market is very difficult for these luxury brands. The Germans prefer the upper class vehicles of the traditional German brands.
In other markets, however, it looks different. Already in Europe, especially in the USA. When luxury started in the USA with the first LS400, this was after a short time the mostly imported top class limousines on the US market.

No sign of bringing this idea into the market now expensive car, although the exit from the internal combustion engines is a decided thing, sounds adventurous by Hyundai. These few cars therefore remain exotic and quickly comes the problem with the spare parts, as well as factory sticks that are complaining about such a pirol?
It may be assumed that the models will be electrified and will serve the dealer network of Hyundai.
If you can teach something about it, please do it, otherwise we will discuss Kaiser’s beard here.
How do they make used cars?
No, “Use vehicles.” Vehicles for use in everyday life, no luxury products.
ooops, wrong read.
Basically, you have said everything in your question. The car is reasonably good and quite expensive. I would absolutely not say, at least not to European taste tailored to the Asian and American tastes.
I don’t give them a chance. Hyundai itself did not really manage to move to 10th place in the sales figures, leaving brands like Fiat or Citroen behind. But it’s just with the cheap boxes. Luxury and Hyundai do not fit together. As you have already written, Toyota has to learn (or in Germany VW). Hyundai also has a service network problem.
