Does cannabis consumption affect local anesthesia?
I have to go to the dentist tomorrow and get anesthetic. I smoke weed every now and then, so not too often. And if I smoke weed today or tomorrow before the appointment, OK, maybe I'll smoke more often. In any case, if I smoke weed tomorrow, it will affect my anesthetic. They want to drill something around and do a filling. I have no idea how long it will take, but the doctor said it's only a small thing. He recommended anesthetic because it's uncomfortable. Will the anesthetic work less or more now?
Cannabis and local anesthesia used by the dentist do not affect each other negatively. Just as little as anesthetic and coffee, tea or cocoa makes problematic cross reactions or side effects.
You can tell the dentist that you’re grinding, but you don’t have to. It will have no influence on the type and dosage of the anesthetic. It is possible that the dentist himself ciffs because cannabis use is now moving through all layers of society.
Yeah, that’s impacted. Share it to the doctor that you occasionally smoke grass. You probably need more of the anesthetic, but it was.
You can just tell the doctor that he has a duty of silence and will not condemn you for consumption now. You’re probably not his only patient who’s been crying.
The doctor can then adjust the dose if necessary.
